Overview

Over the last 5 years we have steadily expanded our platform, from launching a modern medication e-commerce and delivery experience for patients, to building intelligent algorithms to reliably interpret all manner of e-prescriptions, to scaling pharmacy operations, to releasing APIs that grow the reach and flexibility of our platform enormously. As we pursue our vision of reducing friction for doctors, pharmacists and telehealth providers alike, we have much to build out. So we’re growing our team.


The Opportunity

We are looking for a capable and motivated engineer to join our engineering team, who is talented at their craft, brings energy, aptitude and creativity. You will be building on a modern, cloud-native tech stack and enjoy focus, flexibility, freedom and sense of purpose that comes from joining a startup.


Our tech stack features .Net 8, C#, Asp.net Web APIs, Python 3, PostgreSQL, AWS, React JS, Terraform and other mainstays of a modern, scalable decoupled architecture. We are hyper-focused on building for scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop APIs, stand-alone services, web applications and system integrations. Sometimes also libraries.
  • Shape Infrastructure with code and craft fully automated CI/CD pipelines
  • Solve important and interesting problems that relate to business expansion, scaling and optimisation
  • Work in a small team unburdened by tedious meetings or meaningless bureaucracy
  • Have the autonomy and ownership you need
  • Provide support, documentation and fill in whatever gaps are needed to keep our platform humming, delighting and evolving


About You

  • Deep experience in any two of these - C#, Python or Javascript - 5+ years
  • Exposure to AWS and modern cloud environments
  • Database design skills. Bonus if you have worked with PostgreSQL
  • Experience with containerised applications, preferably Docker
  • Strength in design patterns, automation and best practices
  • Proven ability to craft maintainable, clean code and to express elegant solutions
  • A willingness to learn, collaborate and commit
  • Any STEM degree


What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience building SaaS platforms
  • Expertise in data analytics pipelines
  • Exposure to the domains of fulfilment, healthcare, medications and/or pharmacy
